“Wonderful girl. Either I’m going to kill her or I’m beginning to like her.” – Han Solo, Star Wars IV: A New Hope
I’ve been tagged by boremetotears. Go me.
The rules:
A) People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blogs & replace any question that they dislike with a new question. (I haven’t changed any questions.)
B) Tag 8 people to answer the questions.
1. How many songs are on your iPod?
Which is sadder: that I don’t own an iPod or that I don’t really want to own an iPod. The fact that I’m typing this on a computer and not writing it out longhand on a piece of stationary is a small miracle.
2. What music would you want played at your funeral?
A little less conversation, a little more action by Elvis.
3. What magazines do you have subscriptions to?
None. I prefer to read them at the library. I used to get Smithsonian, which is still one of my all time favorite magazines.
4. What is your favorite scent?
Pumpkin pie.
5. If you had a million dollars that you could only spend on yourself, what would you do with it?
Buy homes in The Netherlands and Italy. My two favorite countries.
6. What is your theme song?
I never thought about having a theme song. Can any friends suggest one?
7. Do you trust easily?
No. I trust slowly, but deeply.
8. Do you generally think before you act, or act before you think?
A little of both. I tend to overthink the big stuff and act without thinking about little stuff.
9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
Hearing that Dad Windu’s grandma is very sick and no one even knew about it. Shit. While I was typing the answer to #18 we got the call that his grandma had just died earlier today. Dad Windu’s had a whole 24 hours to get used to the idea that his gram was sick before hearing that she’d died.
10. Do you have a good body-image?
For the most part. I know the things I don’t like I either have no control over (my height) or I am choosing to do nothing about.
11. Is being tagged fun?
It’s nice to know that there are people who read my blog more than once, but I have to copy boremetotears on this one: “I think I like reading other people’s responses more than writing my own.”
12. How do you spend your social networking (Facebook, etc.) time?
I hop onto Facebook so rarely that I’ve actually closed it down a couple of times and no one noticed.
13. What have you been seriously addicted to lately?
Blueberry, strawberry & cherry yogurt smoothies. I think I may wear my blender out.
14. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?
Boremetotears seems bright, slightly sarcastic and someone that would be fun to have living down the street. She also seems deeply disturbed that Sarah Palin is still being considered for the vice-presidency. Deeply, deeply disturbed.
15. What’s the last song that got stuck in your head?
The Jeapardy theme song. Padawan Learner just learned it for the piano and played it over and over and over and over yesterday. I fell asleep to it last night. It’s a sign of my parental strength that he is still alive and well.
16. What’s your favorite item of clothing?
A pair of jeans I bought last February from J. Crew. They fit like a glove and make my legs look like the go all.the.way.up.to.here when I wear my high-heeled boots with them.
17. Do you think Rice Krispies are yummy?
I did as a kid, but now I find them a little too creepy to actually eat. Especially the ones you can get from the store.
18. What would you do if you see saw $100 lying on the ground?
If I knew who lost it, I’d return it; otherwise it’s go to paying down the mortgage early…as do just about every extra penny that comes into contact with my hot little hands.
19. What items could you not go without during the day?
Some time alone to read, think and dream.
20. What should you be doing right now?
Getting off this and help Dad Windu find a flight out for the funeral on Tuesday.
Nodin’s Nest, Third Culture Kids Are Mine, HMS Indefatigable, Eileen Cook, FilmChris, Atheist A-Go Go, Southpaugh Homeschool, One-Sixteenth: feel free to blow this off, but I’d sure like to read your answers. If anyone else wants to join in, consider yourself tagged, too.

Dude, I was totally feelin’ the love!! Thanks!
I am so sorry to hear about Grandma. My thoughts are with you all.
LOL at the Jeopardy theme song. Yeah, that one would be REALLY annoying. I’m totally on board with “A little less conversation” though; I love that song, too – especially while driving the back roads with the windows rolled down!
I wish I had some comforting words as I’m really sorry to hear your sad news. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Thanks for the good thoughts. The suddenness of her sickness and death, and the fact that it happened across the country from us has made it rather surreal.
Sorry about the news. Also sorry that you didn’t hear until now. I’m going to have to think on the theme song issue. there is something perfect for you- but I’m not entirely sure what it is yet.
So sorry about your loss. Thinking of the whole Jedi family.
Thanks guys. I appreciate it.
While I enjoyed reading your answers, I’m terrible at these things. I will have to think about answers. I am so sorry to hear about your Grandma, I hope she hadn’t been ill too long.
