“Anakin! Tell them to take off!” - Qui-Gon Jinn, Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace
To dreamland, that is!
Harken back to yesteryear all Star Wars geek boys and girls. Do you remember these wicked, cool sheets from the first time around? My brother had a set that he used so long he wore holes straight through the fabric. When the bottom sheet finally and completely went, my mom made curtains for his bedroom from the top sheet. Good times.

Hmmm, I may have to look into getting those. I think my son would freak!
Thing is, with character sheets etc, they’re always made with crappy material/low thread count and are like snuggling up with your favorite hobo in a burlap bed.
My cousin had curtains with Michael Jackson, but fortunately, no sheets. Can you imagine being forced to snuggle up in those?
::shudder::
I remember those. Noah wants the new ones from Pottery Barn. I am no willing to pay what they want.
Uhhhhhggggg! I certainly don’t want these on my bed, but please don’t show them to Mom #2 or I’ll be snuggling up to Anakin and the gang before I could count to three, LOL! And Baby Boy, Oy! That’s all we need is sheets to match the posters. Stop it!
Ok, those are awesome. I have to tell you I’ve also just discovered Darth Vadar is on Twitter.

I apologise if you already know this
Oh, I’ve sent this info to several of my geekiest friends, and I think they will LOVE it! Thanks for the heads up!!
Darth Vader on Twitter, that just makes me smile. Thanks for the heads up.
Well, we looked at those (yes a plural pronoun — my sisters and I) and decided that they were not worth it because of the cruddy quality. Did that stop us from giving our 5 kiddos a Star Wars Christmas? No, not in the slightest. We had everything we could find from the Target Dollar area, plus scouring the internet for reasonably-priced new and old Star Wars stuff, plus my mom found some flannel Star Wars panels at the fabric shop which she turned into Star Wars pillowcases for the kids.
Also, my sister Judy brought over her Wii with the new Clone Wars game on it, and the kids just had a hey-day with it.
Oh yeah. My husband scoured the internet to find me a Kit Fisto action figure, who was peeking out of my stocking on Christmas morning. Kit is my favorite Jedi just because of the way he looks.
But the best thing of all which happened Star-wars-wise at my house on Christmas Day was getting to watch my niece open up a very special present — we went to a Star Wars convention in Plano, TX back in October — and we managed to procure at some expense and fast-talking in the autograph line — a personalized autographed original Darth Vader figure for our niece. Our niece is not a demonstrative child at all, and she threw herself into my husband’s arms, saying “thank you thank you thank you thank you” over and over again.
Now that’s heartwarming.
I think simone had these when we first met!!! Oh, I am sure he would want me telling that as well….
How was your Christmas??
I’m pretty sure my kids would put up with low quality to get Star Wars anything.
Also, I have an award for you on my blog.
Ami: shudder
Jennifer: We had an All iPod Nano Christmas, cords and docks and odds and ends galore. Your niece is one lucky girl.
Disco: HeeHee. I love the image of Simone curled up under Star Wars sheets.
Emma: I’m on my way…
