This is unacceptable after such a long, cold winter. It’s April people. A.p.r.i.l.

I need blue skies, bright sunshine, emerald green grass, and tulips galore. The only thing protecting me from succumbing to the pre-Spring blahs at this point is a pair of hand-knit socks from my bestest buddy Eileen.

See how spring-y they are? How bright and cheery? Unless you too are the lucky recipient of hand-knit socks, you can’t comprehend how comfy and cozy they are. I highly recommend you learn to knit, just so you can ensure yourself a steady supply of hand-knit socks – and don’t cheap out on the yarn, go for the good stuff. At the very least, get yourself a knitting friend. Your emotional health may just depend on it.

      Ok, so I’ll trade you a little of this afternoon’s sunshine for your cheery knitted socks (And let me tell you, that is QUITE sacrificial, seeing as how this is the first time we’ve seen the sun in about a week!)

      I would LOVE to travel by boat. I’m hoping that can be arranged and the cats will be fine with that too. LOL But hubby hopes we will be on the airplane with him on June 19… Ugh.

      I’ve been so in the mood to watch “Jedi”, and now I think this has just confirmed that I need to watch it.

      The name of the yarn was Cherry Blossom (which let’s be honest is perfect for spring socks) They came from Sunshine yarns http://www.sunshineyarns.com/ but I’m not sure they make it anymore

      How much would you hate me if I told you I got a bit of a tan today whilst sitting out in the garden in a sleeveless t-shirt and we turned the grill on for dinner for the 5th time this week??

      We do have a spare bed, you know ;)
