I’m going to sleep well tonight. We just got our new mattress and box spring set delivered. It’s lovely and cushy and soft and ooooh so comfy. Our hand-me-down, 25 year old mattress and box spring just weren’t cutting it anymore.
I’ve got the sheets in the wash, the pillows lined up awaiting their cases, and the mattress pad is fluffed and ready to go
but
I’ve also got a big ol’ cat with all her claws soaking up the sun nestled on top of the new mattress and she is not interested in getting off. Trust me. I know that look. I think I’ll wait until the sheets are out of the dryer before I try to pry her off.
